Beat Insomnia with Room On Fire by The Strokes

Room On Fire By The Strokes Is something keeping you awake at night? Maybe it is due to tension at work? Family Worries? Financial difficulties?

Sometimes we all have trouble getting a good night’s sleep.

In the past you may have tried sleeping tablets or even some of the herbal remedies available from your local pharmacist. Now there is a safe, proven and entirely drug free alternative to insomnia - Room On Fire by The Strokes.

In just half an hour or less these eleven comfortably familiar and utterly soporific tracks will have lulled you into an extremely deep and restful sleep.
We are so confident of the profoundly fatiguing nature of this product, that if anyone can phone our hot line and recite the lyrics to any of the last three tracks we will be glad to refund your purchase in full and offer you a discount on the forthcoming Sting box set.

But don’t just take our word for it.....

Mrs I.B. Minging of Warrington says:
“After our Reg was made redundant from the factory where they boil horses down for glue I was a nervous wreck. I can honestly say that I didn’t know where our next scratchcard was coming from and I couldn’t get a wink of sleep. Now I just pop Room On Fire by The Strokes on the stereo before going to bed and before you can say ‘Swiss finishing school’ I am fast asleep. Thank you, The Strokes!”

Mr N. Topping of Manchester wrote:
“Following a heavy night out drinking Red Bull based cocktails and snorting cocaine in pub toilets I often have trouble dropping off. But as soon as the comforting sound of a bunch of unwashed New Yorkers playing catchy tunes on a load of equipment robbed from a pawn shop fills the room I’m always asleep before 12.51, in more ways than one!”

Warnings:

Do not play if you wish to stay awake, always read the label before listening as that is fairly dull in itself.

Do not listen to Room On Fire by The Strokes while driving.

Room On Fire by The Strokes is not recommended for airline pilots, professional sports people, medical staff or for transmission on commercial radio networks.

There is a risk of coma if Room On Fire by The Strokes is used in combination with any recordings by Pink Floyd, Ryan Adams or The Thrills.

Jesus, Jones. They rule, we suck - the only cliché you missed out was “U R all gay”.

For fuck’s sake - if you love it tell us why, try and give us an idea as to why you think we are wrong, convince us ; ‘cos the power of your so mighty swearing alone ain’t gonna change Jim’s mind.

For the record the feeling that this was too similar as the last one, only not quite as good got to me too.  Don’t tell us we’re the only ones.

Ooh, I’ll have a go at better second albums.

The Faint. Pet Shop Boys. Portishead.

Um. I’m sure there’s loads more.
